Like the title says, I'm not dead, life just got hectic. I have some photos from my photography course that i need to post from about july and I'm working on another photo-manip. once again it is based on the elements. other than thit my folders are full of half finished stuff that i never got round to posting *sigh*

Unfortunately this little update on my not-so-interesting life might be all for a while as I'm going to Japan in just over a week. I promise to take loadsa photos and actually get round to posting some when I get back!!

In other newas, the priciple at my school died. It was quite a shock though i knew something was up. Because I'm in band I dont have to go to assemblies so it was weired that band peoples had to go to assembly. Last time that happend the whole scool almost got banned from the local shopping centre because of a fight. And the told us the principle died instead of us getting into trouble!!

other than that nothing else to report. hope u guys are all still around...

My friend from school has just joined DA and she's a little lonely so if you could go over to her page and say hello it would be much appreciated. My friend is and she really hasn't discovered an art form to base her self in but she does colour a lot of line art.

first of all I want to say I'm sorry I haven't been on here lately, things at school have just been so busy at school and I don't have time for much else!!

Last week I had my birthday!!! On Friday me and a couple of my mates went to a local Mexican restaurant with my family. I think we ate waaayyyy to much!

On Wednesday I found a stray duckling in our front yard with no mother in sight. Eventually the duckling worked its way into our backyard and then to behind our shed. Then amazingly we found the duck family... over the other side of the back fence.

problem no. 1: how the hell do I get the duckling over the fence?

thats easily solved right? just pick the thing up and give it to the nice lady over the back fence so she can reunite the family.... not

problem no. 2: How do I catch it, those things move fast?!

well after about 10 minutes I managed the impossible. The duckling decided that a pile of mesh next to the shed would make good camouflage. I managed to trap the duckling and pick it up. the rest should be easy...

problem no. 3: the "nice lady" over the fence doesn't like animals and flatly refuses to take the duckling from me!!

By this stage the poor thing was shaking from fright and I really didn't want to drop him (was it a him?) over the fence in case I hurt him. So the lady had to find a bucket while keeping the family from leaving. eventually said bucket was found and the duckling was reunited with its mother and siblings.

Also, I had a scare that I wouldn't get into digital photography at school! Thank god thats sorted out.

Yes, last week was fun....
